Hello everyone, I’m back with another blog post.  It’s been about a month, and oh what a crazy month it was.  My last few posts were kind of dark so I have something more positive and uplifting to start the year.  Here goes, enjoy:

As I am writing this we are 6 days into the New Year and the start of a new year is all about resolutions.  Most resolutions fail.  It’s true, for whatever reason or whatever excuse, 95% of all resolutions fail.  In light of that I have a few thoughts to share that might help you keep your resolutions and meet your goals.

  • Human life has a 100% mortality rate, for real.
  • Most of us know when our lives began, but we really don’t know when our end date is. The clock is ticking; your mortal countdown is ongoing.
  • Time spent avoiding dying is not the same as time spent living.
  • Not only are you a unique individual but your life is yours and yours alone.
  • Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not guaranteed, and today is a gift; that’s why it’s called the present.
  • Over the course of our lifespan, it’s the journey that matters not the destination, because that destination is the same for all of us, so make that journey count.
  • If your day to day actions and interactions are not creating a positive change in the world around you, you’re doing it wrong.

If your life is not what you want it to be, that’s on you.  Do what you need to do to get the life that you want.  What are you waiting for?  Don’t wait too long, the clock’s ticking.
